Copy the video URL from your browser or YouTube's share button and paste it into the search bar. How to Interpret the Results

  • Engagement Rate: Calculated as (likes + comments) ÷ views × 100. A rate above 4% is strong for most niches. Rates below 1% may indicate the video reached a large non-subscribed audience (common for viral videos) or that the content did not resonate deeply with viewers. Compare this metric against the channel's own average rather than an absolute benchmark.
  • SEO Score: A composite score based on title length and keyword density, description length and richness, number of tags used, and whether key terms appear consistently across all three fields. Scores above 70 indicate solid optimization. Below 40 usually means the title is too short, the description is sparse, or tags are missing entirely.
  • Tag Analysis: Shows how many tags the video uses and flags whether they appear to be optimized. YouTube allows up to 500 characters of tags. Videos using fewer than 5 tags or over 30 tags often have lower discoverability than those using 10–20 well-chosen tags that match the title and description keywords.
  • Upload Timing: Shows the day of week and time the video was published. While YouTube's algorithm distributes content over time, videos published when your audience is most active tend to accumulate early engagement signals faster, which can boost algorithmic distribution in the first 24–48 hours.
